'The Stranger' Confirmed to be on DVD/BluRay on June 1st

I had made a speculated post 2 weeks ago about The Stranger coming out on DVD this summer. Well, it is confirmed by Anchor Bay Entertainment that it indeed will be out on DVD & BluRay JUNE 1st!

Movie Plot
They Took His Job, His Family, And His Memory. Now One Man Is Taking It All Back... One Body At A Time. Pro wrestling legend Steve Austin stars as a man with no name, no memory and absolutely nothing left to lose. But when he finds himself hunted by both the FBI and the Russian mob, this amnesiac decides to fight back. Pursuit cannot stop him. Torture will not break him. And with every beating, bullet and betrayal, he’ll remember another piece of the horror that took away his career, his family and his identity. Now the puzzle is nearly complete, and one man is about to take back his past...by ending a whole lot of futures. Erica Cerra (EUREKA) and Adam Beach (FLAGS OF OUR FATHERS) star in this explosive action-thriller about collateral damage, stone cold vengeance, and a double- crossed killing machine known only as THE STRANGER.

The Stranger to be on BluRay This Summer?

HighDefDigest.com has reported that the Steve Austin film "The Stranger" will be out on BluRay June 1, 2010.

But... Austin stated via Twitter to a fan who asked about the movie release:
"yes. i completed the stranger 6 months ago. dont know the release date."

--------------

HDD is stating that: In a press advertisement, it seems Anchor Bay Entertainment will be releasing 'The Stranger' also starring Erica Cerra and Adam Beach for a high-definition release on June 1.

I checked out the official Anchor Bay Entertainment website myself, and I didn't see anything reguarding a press release or word of the movie.

Stay tuned....
