WWE Hall of Famer "Stone Cold" Steve Austin is neither confirming nor denying the report of him guest starring on the December 27 Raw from New York that originated on Howard Stern's radio show this week.
"I heard those rumors. I started hearing them last night and I started hearing them this morning on the computer. Man, I haven't heard anything about that," Austin said on the Wrestling Voice podcast promoting next week's release of the "Hunt to Kill" DVD movie.
"I'm getting ready to leave to film a movie in a week. When I get done with that, I'll be in Texas. Then, I'm coming back to work on another movie. If I'm supposed to be in Albany in December, I was figuring to be in Texas. Nobody has told me anything."
WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross, a close friend of Austin's, commented in his latest blog today on jrsbarbq.com that he does not believe Austin has not been scheduled for a guest starring role on the last Raw of the year.
"To the best of my knowledge, Steve Austin has not been officially scheduled to appear on an upcoming Raw as has been reported elsewhere," Ross said. "Steve is preparing to film another movie in Vancouver soon that will take him into December. At that time I assume he will head to his Texas ranch for some R&R and to celebrate the holidays. Jan and I hope to visit Steve and his crew at the Broken Skull Ranch in late December or early January."
-- Austin also talked about his current relationship with the wrestling business and how it compares to "The Rock" Dwayne Johnson, who has separated himself from the business.
"I think I'm about as separated from wrestling as I can get. It seems like I've been away forever. I'll make an appearance every now and then to promote something on Raw, but I think I'm about as far as away from it as I can get," Austin said. "That said, I love the wrestling business and I love my fans, but I'm not in the mix anymore."
-- Austin also commented on the "confrontation" between two former colleagues, The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar, at the UFC 121 PPV last month.
"It looked like they were attempting something," he said. "My opinion, when I look at the UFC and WWE, trying to mix those two is like oil and water. I don't see anything happening out of it."
-- Wrestling Voice editor Duane Doogan asked Austin about his recent "never say never" comments to the U.K. Sun on whether he would wrestle again. Austin was non-committal on commenting again, but talked about dream matches that did not materialize when he was an active wrestler.
"There's a couple of them that come to mind. It's the one people always talked about with the Austin vs. Goldberg thing just because of the look," he said. "I think the Stone Cold vs. Hulk Hogan match was the one everyone wanted to see back in the day."
-- Austin said he doesn't see anyone currently in the wrestling business being able to get to the "rarefied air" of an Austin, Rock, or Hogan type figure. He mentioned John Cena being there, but said, "I don't know that's out there right now."
-- On future movie projects, Austin said he'll be in Vancouver next week filming a S.W.A.T. team type movie with MMA fighter Keith Jardine. He'll be returning home to Texas for a month before returning to Vancouver to film a vigilante type movie.

I think that you will too especially if you like to see Stone Cold kick the bad guy's butt. Good storyline/script that makes for some stout action/adventure.

Source: kroq.radio.com

♪ If the player does not show up, click here.
WWE’s ”Stone Cold” Steve Austin and UFC’s Randy Couture took a break from kicking ass to be interviewed by Kevin & Bean at Comic Con. After talking to them it’s clear, this is clearly going to be the manliest movie of the year!
The Expendables is about a group of mercenaries hired to overthrow a ruthless South American dictator. It promises to be filled with explosions, gunfire, violence and just pure awesomeness!
“Stone Cold” and Couture talked about their roles and Stone Cold putting director Sylvester Stallone in the hospital.
Stone Cold plays Dan Payne, one of the movie’s bad guys. “It was a thrill working with Sly and the rest of the cast. For me to fight Randy Couture and come out alive was pretty awesome.”
The line between good and bad in the movie is a little blurred they said, but ultimately The Expendables are the ones to root for.
Randy Couture promises the amount of carnage in the movie is exactly what you action buffs have been waiting for. He plays “Toll Road”, a skilled demolitions expert and the “intellectual” of the group. “If you’re going to get past me you’re going to have to pay,” Couture says of his nickname. Out of the movie’s roughly 700 deaths, Couture is responsible for about 26 of those. Bad-ass!

The following source is taken from ProWrestling.net:
Steve Austin was on The BJ Shea Morning Experience on KISW.com. Steve Migliore passed along the following recap.
I asked Stone Cold if he plans on being at WrestleMania: "No, I’m not going to be at WrestleMania. I really want to be because I at least wanted to go to the Hall Of Fame, you know, rather then the show just because I love the Hall Of Fame so much and I think it’s such a wonderful deal. But I’m gonna be, I’m in New York City right now, I’m fixing to take off to Boston and then I head to LA, Vancouver and then I’m in Seattle for a day so I’m going to miss the event but I’m looking forward to it, I’ll probably have to record it, but I’ll watch it when I get home."
I then asked him if he has ever considered jumping back in the ring one more time. I mentioned how Goldberg brought up Austin’s name when talking about how he thinks that he (Goldberg) has "one more match in him." Here is what Steve had to say:
"You know that would be fun working with Bill. I’ve always liked Bill and gotten along with him. I haven’t talked to him in quite sometime, he’s a good guy. But no for me, I’m going to leave well enough alone, I rode off into the sunset and my health is good right now. I have another couple of matches left in my body but I won’t choose to exercise those matches.
"I don’t want to go out there and be 90-95% of what Stone Cold Steve Austin was because I’m not going to sack and do it all, but I could be close, but that’s not good enough and there’s really no point in it. It’s not going to take me any farther in my acting career so it would be all for naught. I love my fans, I love that business, but I want to be remembered for what I was not for what I ended up being."
Which led me to asking him about his thoughts on guys like Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair, guys that are still wrestling:
"You know what, it’s just that their legacy will always be what it is. Ric Flair is my favorite pro wrestler in the world. Hogan’s had a great career and I’ll leave it at that."

Hogan Talks Steve Austin on Radio Interview in Australia
Source: TPWW.net
You can listen to the full interview at http://sportfm.com.au/20091123_hulk_hogan
Earlier today Hulk Hogan did an interview for the SportFM 91.3 radio in Perth, Australia and I figured I’d transcribe the more interesting non-Hulkamania tour questions from the interview so here it goes:
Excerpt:
Question: You’ve been in the ring with the biggest names the wrestling industry’s ever seen but there’s one wrestler the fans would really love to see you in the ring with. There’s one wrestler that you never really got to take on in a one-on-one situation and that of course is “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. Steve Austin versus Hulk Hogan – what would the outcome be?
Hulk Hogan: I ran into Stone Cold one week before I came to Australia. I went to a Gold’s Gym in Venice Beach, California and there he was. He was working out during the day. He was doing a movie with my buddy Sylvester Stallone. And I told him, I said, “Brother, I’m going back to work. I’m getting back in the ring. If you want some come get some. Money’s not a problem. Your schedule’s not a problem. If you really want to get in the ring and you really want to make history then come get into the ring with Hulk Hogan”. I did not get an answer.
Question: So you threw the challenge out there but you did not get an answer?
Hulk Hogan: Face-to-face threw the challenge out, in his face.
