I found several things interesting about Austin. While he said he always loved Kobold watches, he was hesitant to purchase them via the internet. Apparently, his manager is a watch lover as well and got Michael Kobold to make a watch especially for one of Austin's recent films. So, now Austin owns two Kobold's - both Arctic Divers.
One of the most interesting things about the article was Austin's perspectives on owning timepieces. Although he says he can buy almost any watch he wants, he limits himself to watches costing less than $10,000 - a perspective I share out of necessity . Austin has a great collection of watches.
